Jan is a skilled qualitative and quantitative practitioner with an established, substantial track record in health and social care research in the North East and nationally. She has skills in, and experience of: in-depth and cognitive interviewing, focus groups, and various methods of analysis; questionnaire and interview schedule design, the conduct of surveys (postal and interview) statistical analysis, systematic and narrative reviews and systematic, interactive forecasting methods, for example Delphi.an active researcher
Her project experience extends from systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials, qualitative studies to longitudinal studies and postal surveys, with a variety of patient groups, health professionals and managers. This has given her experience in project management, and project team management necessitating both autonomous and cooperative, collaborative working.
