Our guide to writing policy briefs was launched on 12th October with an online event attended by colleagues from academia, the civil service, and public and patient representatives.
The event included presentations from external speakers Simon Robinson (Department for Health and Social Care) Audrey Tan (UCL Public Policy) and Natasha Mutebi (Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology) alongside introductions from Professors Falko Sniehotta and Susan Michie and Dr Vivi Antonopoulou and Dr Paul Chadwick.
The audience discussion covered topics including the challenges of measuring the impact of policy related research, the importance of both regional and national contexts, and the PRU’s process of involving public and patients in the writing of policy briefs.
The guide is freely available to download from the Open Science Framework.
