The PPI Strategy Group have contributed to a study on vaccine hesitancy as part of the PRU’s COVID-19 responsive research
The PPI Strategy Group recently took part in work responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The project, which looked at factors linked to vaccine hesitancy, included a large-scale survey of over 3000 people.
The group helped with the survey design, piloting the questions. They also provided views on the representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups in the write-up of the study.
The lead researchers now meet with the group on a monthly basis to update them on the future research plans.
The group’s contributions are acknowledged in the recently published policy brief.
